  3. 1.8 oz dried dates
  4. 3.5 oz hazelnuts
  5. 3.5 oz almonds
  6. 1.8 oz dried cranberries
  7. 4.5 oz dried figs
  8. 3.5 oz pistachios
  9. 4.2 oz flour
  10. 4.5 oz brown sugar
  11. 3 eggs
  12. 1.8 oz seed oil
  13. A dash of baking powder
  14. 1.8 oz Brandy

1- In a bowl, gather the hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, dried figs and dates (diced into four parts), the raisins, the chocolate chips and the cranberries.

2- In another bowl, mix the eggs, the flour, the sugar, the oil and the yeast until you have a smooth batter.

3- Gradually add the dried fruit to the batter, making sure that everything is thoroughly coated.

4- Grease and flour a bread loaf pan (12 inches in length) and pour in the mixture. Press the mixture around the sides with the back of a spoon to cover all empty space.

5- Bake at 350° F for about 40 minutes. The plum cake should cook until golden.
 
 
6- Remove the plum cake from the oven and then from the mold. Test the cake with a toothpick when it’s still warm to see if it cooked through. Pour the brandy over the top and let it cool.
