When you want to make the “Queen of the house” feel like “Queen for a day” there is no better place to go than Sirmione. This gem of Lake Garda is an old town, rich in history, a vacation spot for Roman royalty as early as 1st century AD it is immortalized in classical poetry. Sirmione is also world-renowned for its spas and thermal springs. These springs are also responsible for Sirmione’s beauty products, which are enhanced by the pure water filtered in the volcanic springs.

Make sure to not miss the Catullo caves, the villa of Roman origin that according to tradition, has been rumored to belong  to the Latin poet of “odi et amo”. After you’ve finished spoiling her, in Sirmione you will find nice restaurants where you can taste typical dishes with a glass of excellent Lugana.

How to get

Sirmione is a strip of land overlooking the shores of lower Lake Garda. To get there by car motorway Milan-Venice and then follow the signs to Sirmione Castle. By plane, the nearest airports are the Gabriele d’Annunzio in Brescia (25 km) and Valerio Catullo in Verona (30 km). By train, get off at the station of Desenzano or Peschiera and then continue by bus. And if you want to arrive there by ferry, enjoying an unusual and striking landscape, once arrived at the Desenzano station, you can easily reach the port walking and take a boat to Sirmione.
